Rumors about Apple that supports access to CDMA-GSM as well, is not new news. Apple did announce plans to introduce new iPad tablet next few months.As quoted on page AllThingsD, an analyst at Wedge Partners, Brian Blair said that the new face of the iPad will have a new name: World iPad. And, certainly the new tablet will appear in early 2011.
Analyst Blair continued, the new iPad will be equipped with radio access technology and hardware GSM and CDMA, which allows users to use two types of mobile broadband networks simultaneously.
By combining these two standards, Apple feels could make the 'world' that can be accessed on any wireless network, not just limited to GSM (GPRS/3G) such that belongs now.
"Therefore, Apple will begin to reduce the production of IPAD 3G for two months in advance in order to anticipate the arrival of World iPad. This new product is rumored to support Qualcomm's technology and capable of online, both in GSM and CDMA networks worldwide,".
In addition to new hardware, he continued, the World iPad also comes with a thinner casing which will go through a similar process like the unibody construction methods found in the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.
If Blair's report is accurate, Apple iPhone rumors about the presence of CDMA can be true. The reason, some broadcast reports that the company is bearing the fruit of this Apple is working with Verizon to launch CDMA iPhone in the beginning of next year.
