Ichigo Kurosaki is just a normal High School Junior, except for the fact that he can see and communicate with dead human souls. He lives his life helping many souls, until one day he and a soul of a girl are attacked by something. He manages to escape, and ends up wandering back to his house. He lies on his bed until he suddenly realizes that a girl in a black kimono, had come into his room. He finds out that a “Death God” named Rukia.
