Richards appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2010, where she claimed that although Sheen had never "hit" her, there were many "verbal arguments [that] got extremely heated" and frightened her.
Additionally, Richards talked with Access' Billy Bush about the alleged verbal assaults on his radio show in 2009.
"He calls you the 'C' word and then he calls you the 'N' word? Does he call people the 'N' word?" Bush asked Richards at the time.
"I don't know, but as you can see he calls myself that," Denise replied.
And just like Sheen's soon-to-be ex, Brooke Mueller, Richards also filed for a restraining order (hers in 2006), claiming Sheen was "paranoid", "irrational" and having "very volatile" behavior and "mood swings." She also accused him of looking at underage porn websites and of pushing and shoving her and making threats against her and her parents. Sheen denied the allegations.
While Richards appears to be shying away from the spotlight for the sake of her daughters, Mueller took her twin boys with Charlie - Max and Bob -- out for lunch at a popular eatery in Los Angeles on Saturday, and is currently filming a reality show with socialite Paris Hilton.
